It’s a… PiF!

Es ist ja schon eine geraume Zeit her, daß ich mich bei Aud im Blog für ihr Pay it Forward gemeldet habe.

Und jetzt kam Post. Schon die Verpackung war schön.

Und die Topflappen erst! Vor allem glaube ich, daß sie sehr gut in die Pariser Küche passen werden. Da wollte ich nämlich die ganze Zeit schon welche nähen und bin nicht dazugekommen.

Perfekt! (Trotz des farblich leicht abweichenden Unterfadens auf den letzten Metern… ) Danke, liebe Aud!

It’s quite some time ago that I took Auds offer for a Pay it Forward gift in her Blog.

And now the postman left something very nice. Already the outside was nice.

And even more the inside! I like those potholders. I think they will fit very well into our Paris kitchen. Where I wanted to make some for two years but never found the time.

Perfect! (Even though the bobbin thread run out on the last centimeters and had to be replaced by a similar colour. ) Thank you, dear Aud!

Allerdings erinnert mich das ganz übel daran, daß meine PiF-Geschenke auch mehr als überfällig sind. Eigentlich sind sie fertig, ich muß nur noch Umschläge finden… Aber das erste habe ich heute schon endlich verpackt.

But this reminds me that I have something to give also that is overdue. They are finished, I just have to find envelopes… But I did already finally pack the first one today.
